Published by

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has commissioned two computerized Vehicle Inspection Service centers in Osogbo to enhance roadworthiness testing of vehicles.

The centers aim to ensure vehicles meet safety standards before being allowed to ply the roads in the state. Governor Adeleke highlighted that the centers will also help motorists easily detect faults in their vehicles, reducing reliance on unqualified mechanics.

Additionally, Governor Adeleke announced plans to release the Osun State Transport Master Plan, which will enhance connectivity and efficiency in the state’s economy.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to reforming the transport sector, including registering commercial motorcycle operators and numbering mini-buses for improved safety and security.
