Against the backdrop of the success he recorded in 2019 that saw him emerge as one of the most promising music acts in Nigeria and also a known face in Hollywood/ Nollywood, singer cum actor, Ojayy Wright is getting ready to replicate the same feat this year with his first single, Buy and Sell.
Produced by afrobeat hitmaker, Young D The Beat Boss, the new single, which is one of the tracks in his much anticipated E.P., entitled 37 Degrees in Lagos EP, featured Africa’s top female singer, Chidinma even as expectations of fans keep growing over the new project that will be released soon.
Ojayy, who is the son of veteran actress Bukky Wright made his mark in the music industry some years back with a number of hit songs and has continued to remain one of the fans’ favorites since his debut single was released.

Despite her mum’s success in the entertainment industry, Ojayy in an interactive session with Tribune said he didn’t join the music industry to ride on the back of his mum success, even as he pointed out that he has come to make his name and surpass his mum’s track record as a respected thespian.
His new E.P., according to the singer is a star-studded project that kept working in and out of the studio and shuttling between the U.S. and Nigeria, adding that “ I have promised not to deny my fans good music this year, that’s why I am starting off with an E.P. that will prepare the ground for me as the year unfolds.”
Speaking on his new single and choice of Chidinma on it, Ojayy described the move as ‘genius’, adding that the Buy and Sell is “a player’s anthem and if you want to learn how to woo the ladies this year, this is your song,” he said.
