ODC cancels 2018 Ekimogun Day to honour Bademosi

The Ondo Development Committee (ODC) has announced and obtained the approval of the Osemawe-in-Council for the cancellation of the 2018 annual Ekimogun Day celebration to honour it’s late chairman, Chief Ope Bademosi, who was recently murdered at his Ikoyi, Lagos residence.

According to a statement released by the Chairman, Publicity Sub-Committee, ODC, Alhaji Yemi Adewetan, on Wednesday, said:
“The Chairman of Ondo Development Committee, Chief Ope Bademosi was gruesomely murdered on Wednesday 31st October 2018. This callous and terrible act has thrown all concerned into turmoil which has been worsened by hearsay and innuendos on the social media.”

Chief Bademosi was a foundation member of ODC, Past National Planning Chairman and for many years Chairman of Association of Ondo Clubs in Lagos.

All Ondo sons and daughters with our well wishers should please continue to pray for the peace, progress and harmony in Ondo Kingdom, ” the statement said.
