No record of parallel ward congress in Ogbomoso ― OYSAA DG

DIRECTOR-General, Oyo State Signage and Advertising Agency (OYSAA) and a leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Honourable Temilola Adibi, has said that contrary to news making the rounds, there was no parallel congress recorded in any part of Ogbomoso during the party’s ward congress held across the state over the weekend.

Adibi, a leader of the party in Ogbomoso North Local Government who spoke through Mr Olaniyi Oladiran, noted that the congress held across the local government and the entire Ogbomoso zone under the flagship of the governor of Oyo State, Mr Seyi Makinde, are the only ones recognised, stating that notable leaders of the party were all present.

He further stated that taking a look the venues of the congress, it was evident that there was no problem at all, attributing the success recorded to the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde, a development he said, pointed to the fact Makinde would no doubt return as governor in the year 2023.

Adibi, a former House of Representatives member, commended leaders of the party in Ogbomoso North Local Government and other local governments which make up Ogbomoso zone as well as other leaders from across the state for their doggedness, while urging them not relent in their efforts at ensuring that the PDP continues to wax stronger in the state.
