Fadipe
THE immediate past national president, Nigerian Scholars in Germany Association (NiSIG e.V), Stuttgart Coordinator, Mr Emmanuel Fadipe, has shown his readiness to raise youths in Africa and perfect their natural talents to bring pride and honour to their respective countries.
Speaking when the group, which is a registered organisation in Germany, hosted the annual national summit, Fadipe said the association “is one of the most popular scholars and professionals’ association all around the world with a geometrically increasing capacity in terms of member-size.”
He said over the years, the association, which was inaugurated in 2013, has been instrumental in facilitating the integration of immigrants in Deutschland, easing the affairs of respective members, showcasing the cultural heritage of Nigerians in Deutschland, promoting academic excellence among Nigerians and giving all her members a royal sense of belonging.
Fadipe, who is a recipient of the Global Good Governance Ambassador award, also bagged the humanitarian award, leadership and excellence award, and many other international leadership/academic awards, is known for his unique outstanding leadership qualities, gentle personality, selflessness, empathetic nature, firmness and unquantifiable passion which have brought the association to a stable shore with distinct golden crown among other organisations in Europe and beyond.
In his statement, he said: “I hope I can someday bring smiles to the faces of all and sundry, build a world devoid of stigmatisation and poverty, and give every child a sense of royal belonging – I have a dream.”
When asked about his family impact on his virtues, Fadipe said: “My parents gave me and my siblings everything in the world. We lacked nothing. They starved so we could go to the best of schools, wear the best of clothes and have the best of lives. We lacked nothing even when they had nothing. They also taught us to give to the course of humanity and to be humble. And of course, we learnt contentment too. Most of all they gave us christ-our anchor from the cradle.”
Speaking on how sad people feel as he leaves office, he said “Every journey must come to an end. I feel emotional too. I will forever defend the badge of NiSIG e.V. I am happy about all the great things said about me and I’m sorry if the end of my tenure hurt hearts. I believe in the new administration. One thing is certain, my time will pass, your time will pass too but whatever you will do to bring smiles to the faces of all and sundry will remain history that can never be swept away from the sand of time,” he said.
Some of the speakers at the summit include Ambassador of Nigeria to Germany, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar; Consul General of Nigeria to Germany, Ambassador Wahab Adekola Akande; Tallest model in Sub-Saharan Africa, Culture and Youth Ambassador, Co-founder Expedition 54 Ltd, Bakare Mubarak; popular award-winning Media Personality, Denrele Edun, among others.
