Nigeria records 268 new COVID-19 cases, toll now 215,164

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Wednesday, announced that the country has recorded 268 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in Nigeria to 215,164.

The NCDC disclosed this on its official Facebook handle.

“268 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-225, Rivers-17, Enugu-10, Edo-5, Bauchi-3, Ogun-3, Oyo-2, Kaduna-1, Bayelsa-1, Delta-1.

“215,164 confirmed , 207,520 discharged , 2,980 deaths.

“Today’s report includes:
▪️225 confirmed cases reported for Lagos state for 7th December 2021
▪️3 confirmed cases reported for Bauchi state for 7th December 2021
▪️1 confirmed case reported for Bayelsa state for 7th December 2021
▪️1 confirmed case reported for Delta state for 7th December 2021
▪️5 discharged cases reported for Bayelsa state for 7th December 2021
▪️2 discharged cases reported for Lagos state for 7th December 2021
▪️3 states with zero cases reported: Ondo, Osun, Sokoto.”
