The National Directorate of Employment (NDE), on Wednesday, commenced registration of unemployed youths and physical and disabled persons across council wards of Taraba state.
Alhaji. Danjuma Shehu, Taraba state NDE coordinator explained during the exercise in Jalingo that the idea was to the federal government effort to tackle the unemployment rate in the country to improve the lives of the citizens.
Danjuma also explained that the registration is free for all citizens, as it would last till 5th May 2023.
“The exercise is to tackle the unemployment rate in Nigeria and it is free for all citizens. All unemployed youths across the state are advised to come and register,” he explained.
