NCAA clears Leadstream aviation for training

Published by

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has recognised Leadstream Aviation Training Organisation as a known training aviation outfit in the country

This followed the presentation of the required certificate by the regulatory body to the management of Leadstream in its Lagos office.

The certification of Leadstream  as an approved training organization will henceforth allows it to carry out type rating system course (initial and refresher) on B737 series, CRJ series, Challenger aircraft and Embraer. Others include, hawker 125 series, ATR, Donier and DHCB.

Reacting to the certification, the Executive Director of Leadstream, Roland Ahmed Maikudi expressed joy and commended the management of NCAA for doing a diligent job even as he promised to uphold high standards in line with standard operational practices

“I feel great and very grateful to God for the strength to pursue this dream, thus far. We are not there yet, still work in progress, even though we are happy we are not celebrating, because the journey ahead of us is far.”

According to him this showed that the institution has the capability to conduct training for engineers and technicians on almost all the types of aircraft flown in the country.

While acknowledging  that the journey so far had been challenging and interesting, Roland declared “The next line of action, is to continue to do more, continue to improve on what we have, continue to seek for more approval until we get to the point that, no engineer on technician have a reason to travel out for training.”
