NANTA to hold zonal elections nationwide

The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) has released the schedule for its zonal and national election to usher in new leaders that will steer the affairs of the association in the next two years.

In a release by the Electoral Committee Chairman and outgoing National Treasurer of the Association, Dr Dagunduro Olatokunbo, the National Council, in conjunction with the Board of Trustees, had approved the following dates for the elections.

Lagos Zonal Election is scheduled for February 8, in Ikeja, Lagos, the Eastern Zone will come up on February 9. Northern Zone will come up on February 27, and Abuja Zone will be held on February 28, while the grand finale will be Western Zone to be held on February 29, respectively

The national election will be held during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the association in April in Lagos.

The release added that the association is an organized professional association, there is much hope of a peaceful transition of leadership, adding that all preparations are set and results will be released as soon as each zonal election is concluded.
