My sister’s goitre

Published by

My sister is developing simple Goitre at the left side of the neck. She is an adult of 45 years old. Kindly let me know the types of drugs we can give her.

Goitre treatment depends on the size of the goitre, signs and symptoms, and the underlying cause. If your sister’s goitre is small and her thyroid function healthy, her doctor may suggest a wait-and-see approach with regular check-ups.

On the other hand, her doctor may consider her fit for medication and give her a prescription for drugs.
