One of the reasons why our mouths become so dry and parched is because of medications that we take. Even just one pill can cause this effect. But if you are like a lot of people, even worse is if you need to take many different medications that can cause dry mouth. Put them together, and you can end up with an extremely dry and bothersome dry mouth!
Try spacing out your medications. Find out if any particular meds you take have warning stickers on the bottles that say that that medication may cause dry mouth.
Then, take those particular meds an hour or two apart from each other. But check with your pharmacist first, to make sure that it is ok to do so. And drink plenty of fluids/water every day. Try and avoid Coffee, tea, and anything else that contains caffeine! Your body actually needs plenty of water to keep it functioning properly. But you cannot count any water that is contained in soda, tea, or coffee, sorry.
