It is very likely that you have contracted a water- borne disease called Schistosomiasis from the polluted stream. However, before you can commence treatment, a confirmatory examination is desirable through an examination of your urine in a good Laboratory. Once your ailment is confirmed, treatment with an affordable drug will prescribed by your attending doctor. In addition, the stream should be fumigated by officials of your Local Health Department in order to prevent the re-infection of members of the community.
