One person lost his life in an auto crash that involved two Toyota Corolla cars with registration numbers LND 509 EJ and ABC 549 FN along Ikirun-Ila-odo road of Osun State on Saturday.
The accident which also left one injured out of the seven occupants of the two vehicles, occurred around 4.00 pm of the day when the two vehicles had a head-on collision.
Speaking on the incident, the public relations Officer of the Osun State sector command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Mrs. Agnes Ogungbemi hinted that, it happened very close to Mobola Hospital in the area and that, the injured person is currently being attended to medically while the deceased had been deposited at Orotunde Hoapital, in Ikirun.
The public relations Officer who also disclosed that, a trailer loaded with cement with registration number KSF614XU rammed into the well packed patrol vehicle of the commission along Osogbo-Ilesa road on the same day as a result of break failure, said the driver of the trailer had been arrested.
She, however, said that none of their officers was injured in the incident.
