The Moganna family of Isale Bode in Ibadan has expressed appreciation to the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Mohood Balogun and the members of the Olubadan-in-Council for standing by the truth and culture of Ibadan tradition.
The family lauded the monarch for not allowing the installation of two Mogajis in a single-family compound which is alien to Ibadan chieftaincy system.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Moganna family said the stand of the monarch has confirmed him as “a firm and fair monarch who always stands on the side of the truth.”
Recall that some leaders of Moganna family compound, Chief Dauda Aibinu and Mr Dauda Adebisi had written a letter to Olubadan to intimate him of plans by some family members to cause confusion within the family to install another mogaji for the family by breaking the family into two sections.
But the Olubadan, Oba Mohood Balogun and members of Olubadan-in-Council had on Monday forestalled the attempted installation of one Sarafadeen Adekunle Olayiwola as a mogaji for Moganna family compound when the incumbent is still alive.
