Menace of roadside traders in Bodija

Published by

I want to call on the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, to enact urgent laws that will ensure that traders displaying their  wares on roadsides are relocated because the situation of many major roads like Mokola and especially Bodija as well as many others require attention before something tragic happens.

The situation is so perilous to the traders and commuters as passing through Bodija is quite difficult now; in Ojoo and Bodija amongst others, smooth vehicular movement is impossible because of the activities of roadside traders, leading to conflicts, traffic jams and sometimes avoidable accidents.

It is high time this was nipped in the bud.
