Mamora
The Minister of state for Health, Dr. Olorunibe Mamorah has called on the newly appointed Chief Medical Directors (CMDs) of Federal Medical Center, Bida and Owerri to discharge their statutory roles in accordance with mandate of President Muhammad Buhari Administration.
Mamora made the charge in his office while presenting Letters of Appointment to the duo of Dr. Abubakar Usman of FMC, Bida and Dr. Kingsley Achugbu of FMC, Owerri respectively.
Mamora also advised them to be more efficient, diligent and proactive in their dealing when discharging their duties
He further emphasised the Federal Government’s commitment to provide more fund into health sector to enhance quality health services to its citizenry.
The Minister also admonished them to create enablely environment among their various staff in-respect of their status and host communities.
In his response on behalf of Newly appointed Medical Directors, Dr. Abubakar Usman appreciated Federal Government for the opportunity given to them to serve their father-land as he promised to put effort to add more value to Medical proffessional by creating good welfare and better working condition for entire staff.
The ceremony was also witnessed by, Mallam Ishaq Usman, Board Chairman Federal Medical centre Bida, and Dr. Bola Alonge who represented Dr. Adebimpe Adebiyi Director, Hospital Services Federal Ministry of Health.
