NO fewer than 15 students of the Lush Hair Academy received certificates of graduation from the hair extension brand, having satisfied all necessary requirements to major in bridal styling, in Lagos, recently.
Earlier in the year, the company officially launched its hairstyling academy to train both existing stylists and aspiring Nigerian youths who had picked up interest in professional hair- making and styling.
Speaking at the event, the Brand Manager, Lush Hair, Ritambhara Kakkar, expressed the company’s delight that the graduating students had shown dedication and passion, right from the commencement of the program.
He also noted that the program, which started off like an ‘ordinary pea of idea’, had steadily metamorphosed into a life- changing project for Nigerian youth who had chosen a path in hairstyling.
According to him, out of the many entries received at the inception of the program, only15 students were able to follow through.
“This clearly shows dedication and hard work on their past, so we celebrate every one of them. We are most confident that they will excel out there as they have learnt from the best hands in the industry,” he stated.
Congratulating the graduating students, Chief Executive Officer, Tobbies Touch, Tobiloba Ogunbiyi, described the training as a ‘glorious adventure’ , that all of them should be proud of.
The celebrity hairstylist, who took them through the basics to the completion of the program, charged the graduating students to see the training as a start of a journey.
Responding , Ogunseye Temitope, who won the Best Student 2021 Award, commended the brand for coming up with the program, thereby making a significant impact in her life and those of other graduates.
