Luc Longmire says book motivated him to become a coach, forex networker

Published by

Luc Longmire has had a tough life. However, with tougher resilience and a stronger self-belief, he pulled himself out of the quagmire of loss to become an ace entrepreneur. This is his story.

Can you tell us about your early years?

I grew up in Brazil, Indiana, and my childhood was regular apart from the fact that I was completely immersed in football. Back then, becoming a professional was the only thing I wanted. But a broken collar bone shattered that dream. I didn’t know where to turn, so I turned to drugs. From the age of 15 to 22, I was hustling on the streets, selling drugs, and feeling lost. But I won’t say that it was a total waste as I got to observe people, their motivations, and their fears in the underbelly of the city. But it was harsh. I got sent to jail more than twenty times and checked into rehab until I found my feet in bodybuilding.

What motivated you to become an entrepreneur?

For me, it was finding out that not only can I be my own boss, but I can do that while being good at what I do. That was my greatest revelation. Along with the book Think and Grow Rich, it helped me turn my life around. Bodybuilding gave me a mental precision that helped me take on challenges that I couldn’t have in my hustling days. I worked out at Gold’s Gym for four years and became the General Manager there. I was more comfortable, more at peace with myself, and more responsible than I had ever been. It was at this point that I found my true passion – forex trading and networking. This was my light bulb moment and I knew the time had come for me to take the plunge and dip into my strengths. That decision helped me convert my 6-figure salary a month to a 6-figure salary a week. Since then, I have created my own courses and apps, and become a mentor and coach.

What was the most difficult part of your journey?

To let go of my fears. When I decided to quit hustling, I was afraid to fail in the new world. While leaving Gold’s Gym, I was afraid I’d not make enough money as an entrepreneur. Getting the better of my fears has been my greatest achievement.
No great story is without its share of struggles. However, if the individual’s sense of self prevails against the struggle, as Luc’s did, rewards are not far away.
