Violence has disrupted the accreditation and voting process across various polling units in Shomolu local government area.
Yiaga Africa’s Watching The Vote (WTV) Observers stated that this was due to the non-inclusion of a political party, Young Progressives party (YPP).
Yiaga Africa’s Watching the Vote (WTV) made this known in a statement issued to Tribune Online having deployed trained, accredited roving observers to observe the process across the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs in the state.
It explained that YP which is not one of the officially recognised political parties was printed instead of Young Progressives Party (YPP).
Consequently, they gathered that the YPP supporters asked their voters to boycott the election.
