Let’s talk about your posture

Published by

When you meet an individual for the first time, his or her posture is one of the things you would see as it speaks volume about the individual.

Four schools went for a competition sometime ago. From the performances of the contestants, it was obvious that each student was well-prepared by the school; it was therefore tough for the panel of judges to pick the winner among them.

At that point, a short break was declared and during the break, one of the female judges suggested they should pick the winner base on the test of their  habit, which includes their posture.

The short break which lasted for 10 minutes was called off and everybody returned to initial positions and another round of questions were asked and each of them was keenly observed. At about 12 minutes, the competition came to an end and snacks were served while positions were being determined by the panel of judges. After a while, the winner of the competition was announced and there were murmurings in the hall as to what qualifies the student as the winner.

An expert on posture among the judges rose up and pointed out that the winner maintained a good posture from the beginning of the competition till the end while others did not. At that moment, there were exchanges of glances because no one thought it could have added marks to the points of the contestants.

Every student went home with the lesson that sometimes, insignificant things such as a good posture counts.

Aunty Yemi counsels that you should: BE CONTIOUS OF YOUR POSTURE; MAINTAIN A GOOD POSTURE EITHER YOU ARE SITTING OR WALKING! You do not know what could earn you recommendation.
