A tomato is a special fruit in the family of health benefits fruits that serve several purposes in human diet. It is popularly known in Nigeria for stew making and sauce among other uses. However, tomatoes can also be used to make juice.

Tomato juice is a healthy recipe with zero restriction. Tomatoes were first discovered in South India in 1917 by Louis Perrin of French Spring Hotel.

Among others, tomatoes are rich in nutrients, quench blood pressure, serve as antioxidant that reduces cancer, inflammation and heart disease. Drinking a glass of tomato juice everyday also helps to lose weight without reducing your daily diet.

If there is any remaining skin, use your hand to peel it off. After peeling, pour the tomatoes into a blender and blend till smooth. Strain the blended tomatoes and extract the juice. Pour the juice into a pan and add ginger juice, water, sugar, salt and juice lemon into the mixture.
