Having carved a niche for himself in the industry through creativity, determination, and doggedness, promising artist David Cross, otherwise known as Kwate Idukomose, has continued to shine through his talent and recent works.
From all indications, the struggle era of the artist is over, as he has become the talk of the town following his new work entitled “On Ground”, which is currently enjoying airplay.
It would be recalled that Kwate’s musical journey traces back to his childhood in Edo State, blossoming further after relocating to Lagos in 1998.
His career took flight in 2010 with the release of the hit “Party Dey Here,” featuring Side One, dominating airwaves, clubs, and streets across Nigeria and solidifying his name in households nationwide.
Following this triumph, Kwate struck gold again with “Baby Give Me More,” featuring Jaywon of Kennis Music, in 2011.
Collaborating with esteemed producers like Sheyman, O’ Black, Fliptyce Beats, Spanky, and Terry G, Kwate showcases his diverse musical palette Beyond catchy beats, his music carries meaningful messages, earning him admiration for his conscious and reality-based approach.
