Published by

When a man is committed to achieving greatness, he never stops winning. This popular saying aptly captures the current mood of music executive and PR expert, Kolawole Omoboriowo,  who goes by the moniker Kolawole Scoop.

The young man who is the founder of Scopp Universal,  a PR company that handles the music business for top Nigerian music acts including Yonda, Buju, Dee3, Ayanfe within and outside the shores of Africa, appears to be winning on all sides.

Days back, he was honoured with the prestigious South West Advancement Awards alongside other top Nigerian personalities drawn from all walks of life including the Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwolu, the number four man in Nigeria, Speaker House of Reps, Femi Gbajabiamila among others.

The award, according to the organisers was created to appreciate, motivate and encourage the average Yoruba man whose ideas, works, causes and activities have continued to give value to lives of many through their giant developmental strides.

The award which was to recognise Kolawole’s immense contributions to the growth of music business and Public Relations in Nigeria, particularly the South West came as a surprise to Kolawole as he thanked the organisers for bestowing the big honour on him.

Scoop who could not be available in person to recieve the big honour is curently in London with some Nigerian artistes to seal new deals and secure new grounds for some of them on the international scene.
