MESUT OZIL was delighted to bag his first Arsenal hat-trick on a night to remember for the German.
Ozil netted a stunning second-half treble as the Gunners romped to a 6-0 Champions League win over Bulgarian minnows Ludogorets.
The superstar midfielder slotted home a neat finish for his first of the night before two sublime volleys capped off the result.
After the match he took to social media to toast his side’s victory and celebrate his own personal achievement.
He wrote: “Boom Bam Arsenal! Brilliant team performance … & very happy about my first ever hattrick!”
Arsenal are now top of Group A after the first three rounds of fixtures and Arsene Wenger was rightly delighted with his side’s display.
He said: “Our confidence is stronger with every win but we have to keep the vigilance as well, and the urgency to bring that into the next game.
“Let’s not be too quick on the verdict. We have a strong squad and a strong spirit, but you have to take care of it and keep your feet on the ground.
“The only way to win something big is to focus on the next one and work on humility.”
Arsenal travel to Ludogorets in the next round of games on November 1.
