Kogi 2023: Ogun gov to lead 191-Member campaign committee

The All Progressives Congress National Working Committee will on Saturday inaugurate a 191-member Kogi State National Campaign Council on Saturday.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun will lead the team to campaign for the victory of the party standard bearer, Ahmed Ododo, in the election to be held in November in the North Central state.

According to a publication by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka,

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Mohammed Umar Bago, and Uba Sani, governors of Lagos, Niger, and Kaduna states, respectively, will serve as co- Chairmen of the campaign team.

The team also has four  North Central governors as members. The list includes incumbent Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello, his Kwara state counterpart Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Abdullahi Sule, and Hyacinth Alia, governors of Nasarawa and Benue states as members.

Checks revealed that in line with the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s pledge to decentralise campaign committees for the off-season elections, the 191-member team would be inaugurated in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.
