Arrangements have been completed for the commencement of the National Diploma in Nursing programme at Kasimu Kofar-Bai School of Nursing, Katsina.
Part of the arrangements was the inclusion of the school into the brochure of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
Dr Aminu Bello Abdullahi, the Provost of the college disclosed this in a chat with newsmen in Katsina.
Abdullahi said the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), granted the approval for the commencement of the course to only the school in the country.
According to him, the approval given to the school to operate the ND programme was as a result of the giant stride of Governor Aminu Bello Masari led administration to provide the needed conducive learning environment.
The provost of the school said prospective candidates wishing to apply for the programme must have credits in five science subjects including Maths and English Language.
