The Kano Traders Association has urged Governor Abba Yusuf to comply with the Federal High Court’s order restraining the Kano State Government from repealing the Kano Emirate Council Law of 2019.

In a statement by its leader, Usman Auwal Nagode, the association emphasised the importance of respecting the rule of law and urged all branches of government to work together harmoniously to ensure peace, stability, and progress in the state.

The traders commended the judiciary and security agencies for upholding the rule of law and ensuring peace returns to the state.
