JUST IN: Tambuwal chairs first PDP Governors’ Forum meeting

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, on Wednesday, presided over the first meeting as the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF).

The PDP-GF, under Tabuwal’s leadership, held its maiden meeting at Shehu Shagari House, inside the Sokoto State governor’s lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.

In attendance at the meeting was the chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and governors of Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Bayelsa and Delta states, while the governor of Zamfara State was represented by his deputy.

Other stakeholders at the meeting are some members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC).

The Director-General of the forum, C.I.D. Maduabum is also present.
