Jagunlabi surprises mum with new mall

It was another joyful time for prominent city lawyer and businessman, Abiola Abdulkareem, popularly known as Jagunlabi, as he fulfilled his long-time dream of gifting his mother, Alhaja Hafsat Amoke Kareem, a 53-unit mall to appreciate her for her love and support over the years.

The opening of the plaza, situated at Old Gbagi market in Ibadan, the business hub of the ancient city attracted dignitaries from all walks of life.

While speaking at the event, Abdulkareem said bringing his dream to life and making his mother happy is more important to him than anything else, adding that the opening of the mall was  historical for him and his family as the location of the mall was the origin of his parents’ foray into business in Ibadan.

For him, it was a joyous fulfillment of his promise to contribute to the growth of the market and also make his mother proud.

He thanked God and his parents for the realisation of the dream.

Abiola is the founder of the Jagun Foundation, an organisation that has taken on the responsibility of building youths in the area of sports, job creation and welfare promised to do more in the aspect of nation building and helping the needy.
