Symptoms for pneumonia include a cough with phlegm or pus, fever, chills and difficulty breathing including sharp chest pains. The patient can also develop fever, chills, dehydration, fatigue, loss of appetite, malaise, clammy skin, or sweating with fast, shallow breathing, shortness of breath, or wheezing. While you may not have pneumonia, your presentation suggests a chest infection which will need a doctor to sort out for you.
