Is oral sex safe?

Published by

I am a newly married lady of 30 years. My husband wants us to practice oral sex. Despite his assurances that the act is safe, I am worried because of the high probability of contacting some disease from the act. Kindly help me as I want to satisfy my husband and at the same time, I don’t want to catch any disease.

Oral sex is safe as long as both partners are free of any diseases and can maintain a good hygiene. However, if you are not comfortable with the idea, you don’t have to force yourself to do it just to please your husband. You can explain your position to him and assure him that you can satisfy him sexually through other methods that are both of you will be comfortable with.
