Is it safe to mix fruits?

Published by

I read somewhere that it is dangerous to eat carrot, pawpaw, with oranges and bananas since the combination will lead to death. Kindly let me now if this is correct.

Most fruits are comprised of water (85 to 95%), sugars, fiber, and minor amount of vitamins and minerals. They do not require gastric (in the stomach) digestion, and will pass into the small intestine as is. Therefore, the suggestion that eating mixed fruits will give anybody some form of health issues is absolutely false. Fruits are regularly mixed and eaten as fruit salads or blended together as fruit ‘smoothie’ without any adverse effect.
