The Kogi State Miyetti Allah cattle breeders association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has called on the federal government to include Fulani cattle rearers in the ongoing Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT).
The secretary of the association, Malam Adamu Abubakar, in a press statement issued, on Monday, noted that Fulanis are also vulnerable people in the society who are facing serious financial crisis in Kogi State.
He noted that the association will be very much happy if the federal government can consider them as such gesture will help his people.
Abubakar stressed that there had been many ongoing programs in the country that the Fulani people are not included in.
He, therefore, used the opportunity to appeal to the federal and the state government not to forget about their Fulani vulnerable men, women and children living in various local governments across the state.
