IBBUL Mass Communication, 2 others get full accreditation

The National Universities Commission has granted full accreditation to the Mass Communication and two other programmes of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State.

The approval contained in a letter addressed to the vice chancellor and signed by the commission’s Director of Accreditation, Dr. Maryam Sali, which also includes Biology and Computer Science, is the result of an exercise conducted in October/November 2019 by the commission.

The letter stated further that the full accreditation is for a period of five years.

Commenting on the result, the vice chancellor, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu, appreciated the effort of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello government for the financial support given to the university for the exercise.

He also thanked the state’s Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology and the commissioner, Professor Abubakar Baba Aliyu, for all the encouragement and support.
