Plateau South Senator-elect, Prof Nora Dadu’ut, has promised not to disappoint the people of Senatorial district saying the massive support given to her in the election will spur her to work hard and towards uplifting the standard of living in the zone and the entire state.
Professor Dadu’ut gave the promise while presenting her certificate of return to Governor Simon Bako Lalong in the company of her husband Hon John Dadu’ut and Professor Garba Sharubutu.
She expressed her appreciation to the Governor, APC leadership in the State and the people of the zone for reposing their confidence in her to serve them at the red chambers.
“With your trust, I will work tirelessly on your behalf to help address challenges, and to secure lasting and meaningful improvements to our senatorial district and the entire state,” she said.
Governor Lalong again congratulated Prof Nora for being the first woman to occupy the position of Senator in Plateau State saying his desire is to lift up more women and remove all barriers that make them not realise their dreams.
He promised to continue to support her and all Federal legislators from the State as well as other appointees at the Federal Level in order to bring development to the state.
