I want to impact the world through my music ― Don VS

Afro Pop artiste, Uyinmwen Omosigho, aka Don VS, has averred that he would love to impact the world through his music.

According to him: “As an artiste, my best moment is when I pass a message and impact through my music. I see music as a medium to add value to others. I want to pass the message and impact others through my music.”

On how his musical sojourn began, he said the journey started in 2004 in far away in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

“I started my music career back then in Nigeria in 2004, Benin City was my starting point. I was on a TV show called ‘Beat and Laugh’ at EBS, Edo Broadcasting Service,” Don Vs said.

Don VS who is based in the diaspora, also added that he misses so many things about Nigeria.

“I miss so many things; my family, my fans and the hustle back then to get your music to be listened to. I thank God for how far he has brought me.”

He also urged budding artistes not to give up on their dreams.

“Never give up in life, pursue your dreams no matter the situation and environment. Your resilience and persistence will take you to the top, not just your talent. Keep pushing, you will achieve your dreams if you don’t give up,” he said.

Don VS has won many laurels including Best song of the year 2017, (ABMA award Italy), Most popular artiste of the year 2018,(Creativity Merit Award, Belgium); Best artiste song of the year 2018 (Creativity Reality Merit Award, Belgium), among others.
