I want to change the face of hip hop in Nigeria —Abiolachase

Music industry as music act, Abiolachase, has assured that he is ready to change the face of hip hop in the industry.

Born Habeeb Odeyale Abiola, Abiolachase has placed himself at the forefront of changing the narrative in delivering his genre of music. The singer has  assured his fans and music lovers that he is bringing in something fresh to the table to serenade music lovers across the nation and the world at large and to place himself on the list of most creative music artistes that Nigeria ever had.

The singer, who majors in recording hip hop songs both in English and Yoruba, said his plan is to be known for his unique sound and lead the way in creating an avenue for new and upcoming artistes to be expressive and not doing things the usual way.

‘I’m an artist who has understanding of what music is and the need to create a sound that people will enjoy and relate to. There are so many artistes in the industry, but it’s how I deliver my music that makes me different from others; and that’s what I’m here to do, to be different.

‘Time has come for us as artistes to get away from the usual and do something that would gain international recognition,” he enthused.

Abiolachase who rose to fame with the release of his EP in October 2020,is one of the young artistes the Nigerian music industry is  brooding to take over the air waves with songs both locally and internationally.

I’m well aware that all people want is good and vibe-filled music, one that would keep party lovers on their feet and music lovers in a happy mood always and that’s why I will make all efforts to do that and even more.  The dream is to take Nigeria to the big stage and what other way can we do this than releasing good music”, he added.
