Olude Samuel, a Nigerian gospel and reality singer and songwriter popularly known as Samtone, who is known for his hit songs, ‘Iwo Okan Mi’ (Oh My Soul), ‘Ife’ (Unity song) and ‘Ogo folorun loke’ has stated that he started responding to sound as early as two years of age.
Samtone added that his mother’s support went a long way in what he became “My mother is a good singer and she contributed to my discovering my talent early. I grew up seeing her singing and this aided my interest and development.
“It made it easy for me to start singing and writing spiritual and inspirational songs early,” he said.
The graduate of Mathematics and Statistics from the Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke, has written and composed hundreds of spiritual/reality songs long before he started going out professionally for music ministrations as far back as 2011 when he launched his first album titled ‘Baba Iwo Ni’ (Na you! Father)
Announcing his next move, he stated that he will be releasing both the audio and Video of his new song, ‘Ori Mi’ (My Head) on September 2024 when it will be available on all streaming platforms, adding that “God Indeed has proved his mighty works in my personal live and in the lives of everyone around me.”
