Nigerian music promoter, Chukwuemeka Stephen Uzoka, has revealed that his return into the industry at this time was to support more talents as well as contribute to the growth of the industry through his promotion gesture as a relief from the current economic situation in the country.
Uzoka, who is also the co-founder of a music distribution firm, Level Up Media and Entertainment (LUME), an initiative facilitated by himself and his partner Ifeanyichukwu Paul Afor, expressed concern that the music business is currently being affected by the state of the economy, but that he was resolute to supporting more promising artistes to the delight of fans home and abroad.
Uzoka, a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, promised that he is leaving no stone unturned to give his fans big as he is fully back into the music industry scene.
The Imo State-born promoter has since helped independent artistes to raise funds from their songs as against their plights of not making money from their works, just as he noted that his organisation is a 360-degree music marketing platform that includes playlist pitching, ad campaigns, radio promotion, and tour planning.
“My brand will be the first-ever remote-based music distribution platform in Nigeria and possibly in Africa with the vision to create job opportunities for the unemployed,” he added.
Uzoka also reiterated his commitment to helping independent artistes in achieving their dreams, as well as assured fans of his commitment to redefine music distribution and ensure smooth delivery for artistes and record labels in Nigeria and around the world.
