How do I manage my pile?

Published by

I have been using some pain relieving ointment for my pile for about a year now. Although the pain from the pile has substantially reduced, the pile has increased in size. In addition, it has started bleeding. Kindly let me know what to do.

It is very important to be sure that what you have is actually a pile since many conditions in the anus do mimic haemorrhoids (Pile). To do this, you will need to see a doctor who will thoroughly examine you. Once it is confirmed that what you have is a Pile, you will be expected to eat a high fibre diet (plenty of vegetables and fruits) which will reduce your chances of getting constipated. In addition, there are some capsules which you will insert into the anus to help shrink the piles. However, if the piles are getting bigger and bloody, you may need to see a surgeon for the possibility of an operation to remove the piles.
