My husband’s snoring problem

Published by

Even though my 55-year-old husband has always snored at night, the snoring has never disturbed my sleep. However, the snoring has become worse in the last few weeks to the extent that I am contemplating moving to the guest room in order to be able to have some sleep. I will need your advice on what to do to make him stop snoring.

Moving to the guest room is not the best solution to the issue of snoring. Instead, encourage your husband to try these natural solutions and lifestyle changes, which may help him to stop snoring; change of his sleeping position, weight loss, avoidance of alcohol, need to practice good sleep hygiene, opening of the nasal passages, change of pillows as well as the need to stay well hydrated.Additional treatments for snoring and sleep apnea include the use of antihistamines to clear the sinuses as well as the use of nasal dilators.
