How Tinsel star, Victor Olaotan died at 69

Published by

Nigerian veteran actor and lead character of the popular Soap opera, Tinsel, Victor Olaotan finally gave up the ghost on Thursday night after battling death for years in a foreign hospital.

Big Daddy, as he was fondly called, returned to Nigeria this year from Turkey where he was receiving treatment. According to the wife of the deceased, the hospital had to send him back as the family could no longer raise funds for his treatment.

It would be recalled that, fund was raised to pay for the late actor’s treatment over the past years by fellow actors and in 2019 Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist; Femi Otedola donated N30 million to the actor.

Olaotan was said to have died due to brain injury caused by a car accident in October 2016.
