Rising Nigerian-British artist, Homebased, has officially announced the release of his latest album, “Con4mity,” set to drop on March 27th, 2025, across all streaming platforms.
Homebased is a Nigerian-British Afrobeat artist known for his dynamic sound and versatility. With a strong catalog of hits, including “Just Fine,” “Aye,” “Lojosi,” “Maa,” “Ma Lo,” “Soldier,” and “Say It,” he continues to push boundaries and explore new dimensions of his craft.
Known for his versatility and unique sound, Homebased is taking a fresh approach with this project, fusing Afrobeat and Amapiano while staying true to his artistic essence.
“Con4mity” is an intentional dive into mainstream Afro-fusion, showcasing Homebased’s ability to evolve with the times while maintaining his authenticity. The album features a mix of playful, high-energy bangers and smooth, rhythmic tracks that highlight his Yoruba roots and rich musical influences. Having drawn inspiration from artists like Asake and Seyi Vibez, he crafted this project by embracing new vocal textures, freestyling to beats, and reducing the use of autotune to keep his sound raw and organic.
“This album is about stepping outside my usual style and embracing the sounds the people love. I wanted to challenge myself while keeping my music as real as possible. You’ll hear a lot of Yoruba in this one—it’s my way of staying connected to my roots while giving fans a fresh experience,” Homebased said.
According to him, the standout tracks on the album include: “Outside – Italawa,” “Jogodo,” and “Ya Photo,” each delivering a different energy but collectively defining the bold, genre-blending sound of the album.
Homebased is also gearing up for a series of music videos to accompany the album’s release. Storylines and mood boards are already in development, with visuals set to drop soon after the album launch. Fans can expect cinematic storytelling that captures the vibrant essence of “Con4mity.”
With a growing fan base and a proven ability to create viral hits, Homebased is calling on listeners to join in the movement. He encourages fans to stream the album, add tracks to their playlists, and create their own social media videos using the songs.
“I just want to appreciate the fans for all the support. It means everything to me,” he added.
Afrobeat and Amapiano-infused project showcases a bold new direction for the Nigerian-British artist.
