Represented by the Director, Public Health of the ministry, Ibrahim Waziri, the commissioner assured that the ministry would continue to partner with health-related donor agencies in the area of improving the health sector which he said is one of the cardinal foci of the administration.
He further said that improving primary health care services is key to the development of the health sector, stressing that USAID/IHP has done tremendously well in that area through its numerous interventions thereby making health care services more accessible to the people particularly those in rural areas.
He then requested for more collaboration with the agency in other areas that have not been touched, disclosing that the ministry is ready to play any role expected of it in the collaboration.
