Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu; Executive Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, former Interim Chairman of APC and the Asiwaju of Ila-Orangun, Chief Adebisi Akande; APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for their concerted effort in making the long-held yearning of the community for a public-owned university a reality.”

In the same vein, the Association appreciates the former Senator representing Osun Central, Prof. Olusola Adeyeye; Senator Bashir Ajibola, and Hon. Olufemi Fakeye for working very hard with Chief Bisi Akande in birthing this unique citadel of learning in Nigeria.

“The Association will join in mobilizing Ila-Orangun community to support the management, staff members and students of the university in all ramifications immediately the university takes off this session,” he added.

Furthermore, the Association extends congratulations to the Orangun of Ila, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Wahab Oyedotun, and the Ila Traditional Council during whose reign this landmark feat was recorded.

Ayanleye, therefore, enjoins the indigenes of Ila/Boluwaduro/Ifedayo Federal constituency, Osun central senatorial district and Osun State in entirety to accommodate and support the university while augmenting receptiveness to the positive development the establishment of the university would bring to both indigenes and non-indigenes.
