Group donates instructional materials to schools in Oke-Ogun

IN furtherance of its desire to give back to the community, a non-government organisation, Oke-Ogun Community Development Forum, recently donated instructional materials to four secondary schools in Iseyin and Ado-Awaye, in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The instructional materials comprised white boards, dusters and markers to boost learning.

The group donated four white boards, dusters and markers to Muslim Secondary High School, Iseyin as part of its contribution to enhance learning.

The principal of the school, Mrs Kadijatu Yakubu, while receiving the materials, thanked members of the group for impacting the education of the youths in the area, saying posterity would remember them.

The coordinator of the group, Eegundiran Oluwakayode Abiodun, in company  with other members, also presented instructional materials to the principal of St. John’s Catholic Grammar School, Isalu Iseyin, Mrs Bosede Oladotun.

While receiving the materials on behalf of the teachers and students, Mrs Oladotun expressed appreciation for the charitable act.

At the Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Koso Iseyin, the group also donated white boards, dusters and markers to the school.

The principal of the school, Mrs Olufunmilola Oludele, on behalf of the management and students of the school, thanked the group for including the school among the beneficiaries of the materials, as she solicited for more support from the group in future.

At the Progressive Grammar School, Ado-Awaye, the school’s principal Mr Timothy Abilawon received three white boards with dusters and markers donated by the group.

While showing gratitude to the group for the gesture, Abilawon expressed hope for more of such assistance from the group.

Other members of the group at the presentation were Mr Sikiru Adeoye, Dr Abiodun Adeoye and Johnson Adeyemo.
