Group commends Otti’s performance as Abia governor

Northern friends of Abia State Governor Alex Otti have expressed delight at the level of developmental projects executed in the state within his first year in office.

The Chairman of the group, Alhaji Umar Sabiu Ahmad, spoke at a press conference over the weekend in Katsina, commending Governor Otti for his exemplary leadership.

Umar highlighted that the group decided to pass a vote of confidence in Governor Otti after careful observation of his activities in Abia State.

He noted, “We decided to pass a vote of confidence on Otti after careful observation of his activities in Abia.” He further expressed confidence in Otti’s readiness and ability to transform the state, stating that they believe he will lead Abia to the promised land.

“We congratulate the people of Abia state for having a governor who has won the national award for being the most active governor in Nigeria.”

Umar said this is a matter of pride for the people of Abia State to support him and show love for him, a true leader with vision and focus towards the development of the good people of Abia State.

He said Abia State has recently found itself in a situation of conflict between two communities, which has resulted in the loss of lives, Governor Alex Otti has demonstrated strong leadership courage and dedication by taking early measures across nooks and crannies of the state in order to tackle the menace.

According to the group Governor Otti gave the community adequate support and equally assisted the victims, by taking necessary action against the culprit.

The group called on other governors especially in the North to emulate the leadership style of Governor Otti towards good delivery of projects.

They called on them to rise up and boost farming activities in their states with which they said can be used to develop the region.

“Our governors in the North are too slow in terms of developments compared to states in the South, East and Western parts of the country.

“Statistics has shown that with farming alone, the North cannot only feed Nigeria but the whole of West African region.” The group concluded.
