The founder of Ink Media Africa and author of How to discover your talent, Olawoyin Smile has urged the government to encourage entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in the country by creating an enabling environment for business to grow.
Olawoyin who is also a youth advocate and founder of Youth Arise for Change advised governments at all levels to invest more on the power sector so that the money being spent by individuals as well as big businesses in buying fuel for their enterprises could be utilized elsewhere, including expansion and employment of more people.
He said: “If the government can encourage people and solve the problem of electricity, unemployment will be a thing of the past.
“Government must play a huge role in job creation by creating an enabling environment and ensuring that only the right people are chosen for jobs and not just those who are after looting the country.
We need to groom young entrepreneurs for Nigeria’s economy to grow. The wealth of nations depends on the wealth of their entrepreneurs.

Olawoyin calls for the distribution of wealth during a world press conference held inside the main hall of The Polytechnic Ibadan on Tuesday.
He said, “More wealth will be created for the people and to achieve this, we need more entrepreneurs and small-scale businesses for Nigeria’s economy to grow”.
“Some nations depend on taxes but how will the government ask people to pay tax when they are unemployed and poor? The government will go broke if tax is not paid so, the citizens need to be encouraged to create wealth so they can pay taxes to government”.
Olawoyin also encourages young and aspiring entrepreneurs to attend seminars and workshop that will help their chosen career and he cited an example of the next edition of ” Business Empowerment Workshop” which will commence on the 23rd of June at Living Faith Church, Eleyele, Ibadan.
Olawoyin is a graduate of Cooperative Economics and Management from The Federal Cooperative College Ibadan.
