Gov Fayemi tests negative for coronavirus

The Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, took to his twitter handle to inform his followers that he had received his test result from Nigeria Centre for Disease and Control (NCDC) and it came out negative. He further enjoined people to continue to be vigilant as the COVID-19 virus is real and relates to everyone.

On his page, he tweeted,  “I just received my test result from NCDC and it is negative. Thanks to all for your concern. This, however, calls for continued vigilance on the part of everyone. Covid-19 is real and we cannot afford to be complacent. JKF”

It will be recalled that the governor has been in self-isolation due to his previous meeting with two people who tested positive for the coronavirus. Thereafter, he was tested for coronavirus.
