Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Wednesday sacked the Commissioner of Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, Hon. Emmanuel Folorunsho Olorunfemi from office.
This follows the recommendation by the Kogi State House of Assembly to the governor after investigating some allegations levelled against him through a petition to the state House of Assembly.
He was removed from office for gross misconduct.
Meanwhile, the governor has appointed Hon. George Funsho Ojo as the new Commissioner of Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission from Kabba/Bunu.
